2nd Generation Multimodal Vascular Biometrics

Securing borders and checkpoints.
OVERVIEW

Multimodal Vascular Verification System

The Multimodal Vascular Verification System is designed for government laboratory validation and formal procurement. It is a new generation of biometric verification technology built around privacy, accuracy and operational flexibility.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

Federated and edge-first

The system uses a federated, edge-first verification architecture: biometric data never leaves the capture device. Central services validate cryptographic attestations that a verification took place, so they can enforce policy and keep an audit trail without collecting biometric identifiers.
Processing and template storage happen entirely on the device, and no biometric data is sent to external servers. The organization that operates the device keeps control of its data.
Each verification event produces a cryptographic attestation that does not expose biometric data. Device-level policy enforcement and hardware-backed security add further layers of protection.
CURRENT CAPABILITIES

Pilot version v3.0.17

The current pilot version, v3.0.17, uses palmar vascular pattern recognition with enrollment of both hands. It runs in 1:1 verification mode, and all processing happens locally on the edge device.
Because it needs no cloud connection, the system can run as a standalone application or connect to other systems through an optional attestation API. NFC passport integration cryptographically binds the biometric template to the holder's identity document.
MODALITY
Palmar vascular pattern recognition, bilateral hand enrollment
VERIFICATION
1:1 verification mode
PROCESSING
100% on-device, no cloud dependency
DEPLOYMENT
Standalone application, or integrated via an optional attestation API
DOCUMENT BINDING
NFC passport integration, cryptographically bound to the biometric template
