Global e·dentity™'s vein-matching and multimodal biometric technology is protected by seven issued U.S. patents, granted between 2018 and 2022 and built continuation by continuation from our first filing in 2018.

In March and April 2019, Global e·dentity™ filed two third-party review requests with the USPTO against published patent applications from Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL): application 15/900,905, published March 14, 2019, and application 16/132,241, published March 28, 2019. Both filings defended the originality of our own vein-matching claims.

Identity fraud is a growing cost for institutions worldwide. Reporting in 2020 put every $1 of retail fraud at $3.36 in total cost to U.S. retailers. Global e·dentity™'s patents cover identity matching that cannot be lifted from a photograph or from a fingerprint left on a doorknob.

Global E-Dentity, Inc. holds seven issued U.S. patents in multimodal vascular biometrics. They were granted between November 2018 and June 2022 and form one continuation family.

The patents cover biometric authentication by the characteristics of bone and blood vessel structures, dual biometric authentication with biometric health monitoring, and biometric authentication for augmented reality and virtual reality devices.

Claim 1 of US 11,368,455, granted June 21, 2022, covers non-invasive vascular matching to grant access at a TSA access point.

Dr. Robert Adams, founder and CEO of Global e·dentity™, is the named inventor on all seven patents. The patents are assigned to Global E-Dentity, Inc.
